On 15 May 2020 Charles Lyndon launched a claim against Volkswagen in relation to the diesel emissions scandal and are inviting eligible claimants to join the claim for compensation.

Charles Lyndon’s lawyers have been monitoring Volkswagen’s use of ‘defeat devices’ since it first came to prominence in September 2015. The decision of the High Court of England & Wales finding the VW had installed ‘defeat devices’ in some of their vehicles, and more recently the decision of Germany’s highest civil court, support Charles Lyndon’s claim against Volkswagen.

Charles Lyndon is confident that eligible claimants could receive up to thousands of pounds in compensation for Volkswagen disregarding and manipulating the UK and EU Emissions regulations by inserting ‘defeat devices’ into some of their vehicles.
