Rodger Burnett

Director

Rodger co-founded Charles Lyndon in 2015 with the aim of creating a dynamic, claimant focussed litigation firm.

Before that Rodger trained as a barrister after which he cross-qualified as a solicitor and spent a number of years at leading defendant and claimant firms.  He currently focusses on group actions, developing and leading the team that filed the first ‘stand-alone’ collective proceedings case in the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

Rodger is also managing two group actions in relation to diesel emissions; and continues to develop further group actions involving innovative funding strategies and pioneering ways to aggregate claimants.

In his spare time Rodger enjoys most sports, in particular football and running; all things to do with space and artificial intelligence; property and architecture.

Dorothea Antzoulatos

Director

In 2015, Dorothea co-founded Charles Lyndon with the intention of creating a law firm that is dynamic and focussed on claimant litigation.

Dorothea trained as a barrister at Pump Court Tax Chambers and spent time in the Financial Regulation Group at Linklaters LLP, specialising in contentious issues.

Dorothea currently works across Charles Lyndon’s practice areas, she has been involved in the running and management of Japanese knotweed cases since 2015 and is a recognised specialist in this area.

Dorothea is also heavily involved in Charles Lyndon’s collective actions, filing a claim on behalf of millions of iPhone owners against Apple Inc, and has significant experience in group litigation.

In her spare time, Dorothea enjoys travelling, exploring new restaurants, and cooking.  She’s often found in the kitchen creating dishes based on her adventures.

Eleanor Leedham

Of Counsel

Eleanor is Of Counsel who focuses on collective redress in relation to breaches of competition law and data protection legislation.

Eleanor has a breadth of experience in managing multi-party claims and representing claimants in the High Court and Competition Appeal Tribunal. Eleanor has been involved in bringing applications for collective proceedings in the CAT against global technology companies and continues to work at the forefront of the collective actions regime in the UK. She was previously in the litigation teams at Mishcon de Reya LLP and Hausfeld & Co LLP and formerly worked at the Office of Fair Trading, a non-ministerial government department which enforced consumer protection and competition law before being amalgamated into the UK’s CMA in 2014. Eleanor sits on the CORLA (Collective Redress Lawyers Association) Committee and was shortlisted for Disputes Lawyer of the Year at the Women & Diversity in Law Awards 2023.

Eleanor qualified as a Solicitor in 2012 after studying at the University of Manchester and Nottingham Law School before completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Competition Law at Kings College, London in 2016. She is also a qualified yoga instructor and keen skier and has raised thousands of pounds for cancer charities by running four marathons in London and New York.

Robert Wilson

Of Counsel

Rob is Of Counsel practising in Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation teams.

He is a dual-qualified lawyer having been admitted to practise as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2023 and previously having qualified and practised as an Advocate (Barrister) in South Africa.

Rob specialises in collective proceedings in the Competition Appeal Tribunal and group litigation in the High Court. He is currently developing and managing multiple large scale collective proceedings in both forums.

Rob enjoys spending time with his family, working on his tennis game, watching rugby and walking in the gorgeous West Hertfordshire countryside.

Donna Farron

Senior Associate

Donna is a Senior Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s environmental litigation team.

Donna is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives and has been involved in a wide variety of cases, including high-value matters, for both claimants and defendants.

Donna specialises in claims involving non-native invasive species (including Japanese knotweed) and other general property damage cases.   She finds this a fascinating new area of law and enjoys putting her litigation expertise into use in such a dynamic and developing field.  Donna also heads up Charles Lyndon’s work in relation to solar panel mis-selling and business interruption insurance claims.

Donna is a keen runner and has participated in a number of half marathons to raise money for various charities. She hopes to one day run a full marathon. Donna enjoys dedicating her spare time to events in her hometown and sits on the Board of Governors at her local Academy.

Amr El Sawaf

Senior Associate

Amr is a Senior Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s Commercial and Competition Litigation team.

Amr qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in March 2016. Before moving to England, Amr represented policyholders in Property Damage and Business Interruption Insurance claims that arose from the devastating Canterbury Earthquake Sequence in 2010/2011.  Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, in London, Amr worked at a leading international law firm’s general commercial litigation team acting for a government owned company in a high value compensation scheme flowing from a class action. At Charles Lyndon, Amr is involved in building and filing collective proceedings in the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

Outside of work, Amr is passionate about fitness, and you can often find him in the gym, snowboarding or taking on new challenging hikes. He is also a keen martial artist, having trained in Jiu Jitsu for a number of years. He is also fluent in Arabic and Spanish.

Shannon Cottam

Associate

Shannon is an Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s environmental litigation team.

Shannon has previously worked at leading national and international law firms where she has successfully been involved in complex, high-value cases.

At Charles Lyndon, Shannon specialises in non-native invasive species, primarily Japanese knotweed. She finds this a fascinating area of law and excels in putting her extensive negotiation skills to good use, to achieve the best outcome for her clients.

In her spare time, Shannon can be found walking her Cocker Spaniel and spending time with her family. Shannon spent a number of years living in Cyprus and loves to return there on holidays whenever she can.

Brendan O’Neill

Associate

Brendan is an Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation team having joined in 2022.

Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Brendan worked at a leading claimant focused law firm in their consumer law and product liability department. His previous experience includes high-profile claimant group litigation work advocating for collective redress on behalf of individuals and groups.

At Charles Lyndon, Brendan assists the team in bringing collective proceedings cases in the Competition Appeals Tribunal as well as various group actions.

In his spare time Brendan enjoys spending time with friends, running, swimming, going to the gym, and trying out the different restaurants London has to offer.

Stephen Littleford

Associate

Stephen is an Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation team.

Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Stephen was called to the Bar in Canada (Ontario) in 2020.  He worked at a leading commercial law firm in Canada where he practised in the areas of commercial law, product liability, and class action litigation.

Stephen works primarily on Charles Lyndon’s group litigation and collective actions cases.  He enjoys being able to bring his knowledge of the class action regime in Canada to help consider the developing UK collective proceedings regime.

In his spare time, Stephen enjoys cycling in the countryside, cooking foods inspired by his travels, and woodworking.

Adrian Carr

Associate

Adrian is an Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation team.

Adrian is a dual-qualified lawyer, having been admitted as a Solicitor in England & Wales in January 2024 and as an Attorney in South Africa in July 2019. He holds an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Master of Arts (with Honours) in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh. 

Prior to joining Charles Lyndon in November 2023, Adrian worked at a leading international law firm and worked on high value compensation scheme arising out of the settlement of group litigation. Before that and prior to moving to London, Adrian spent several years at a top South African law firm where he specialised in corporate, commercial and public interest dispute resolution involving clients from across various sectors and proceedings at all levels of the judicial system.”

Outside of work, Adrian enjoys running, reading, and listening to music and podcasts. Adrian also has a keen interest in wildlife and the environment.

Madeleine Hunter 

Associate

Madeleine is an Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s environmental litigation team.

Madeleine graduated with a BSc in Environmental Science & Geography from Kings College London. She later completed the GDL and LPC part-time while working as a paralegal and then as a Trainee Solicitor, acting for claimants in professional negligence and civil litigation. During this time, she worked on high value, group litigation in financial mis-selling, as well as smaller individual cases. She has recently been studying part-time for an LLM in Environmental Law.

 

At Charles Lyndon, she works on individual housing condition and Japanese Knotweed claims. She finds these fascinating areas of law and is enthusiastic about helping people to access justice.

 

When not working, she lives in servitude to two perfect cats. She also enjoys knitting, live music and occasionally performing with her improv comedy team

Joel Mitchell

Associate

Joel is an Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation team.

Joel graduated with a distinction from Tilburg University in the Netherlands, upon returning to London, he undertook the MA Law and graduated with commendation. He is currently studying the LPC part-time. 

As a trainee, Joel works across all of Charles Lyndon’s practice areas.  He is passionate about litigation with a focus on collective proceedings and competition litigation.

Outside of the office, Joel enjoys spending time with his friends and family, going to the cinema and is also looking to pick up hockey again (in the hopes of reliving his former glory as a National Champion). He is a keen traveller, having spent a year travelling solo in South America.

Belinda Lui

Trainee Solicitor

Belinda is a Trainee Solicitor at Charles Lyndon.

Belinda graduated from King’s College London with an International Relations BA Hons where she also obtained a scholarship to study International Investment Law at Fudan University in Shanghai. Upon graduating, Belinda went on to complete the GDL conversion course and the Legal Practice Course.

Belinda joined Charles Lyndon as an Intern and has since become a Trainee Solicitor.  As a trainee, Belinda works across all of Charles Lyndon’s practice areas and is enjoys the exciting, dynamic nature of litigation.

In her spare time, Belinda enjoys learning new languages, playing tennis, looking for new recipes and spending time with her friends and family. Belinda is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. She is currently learning Spanish.

Joshua Elsey

Trainee Solicitor

Joshua is a Trainee Solicitor at Charles Lyndon.  

Joshua graduated from the University of Exeter in 2021 where, as part of his studies, he took a keen interest in Competition Law. He then undertook the LPC LLM programme at the University of Law achieving a Distinction.

Joshua joined Charles Lyndon as an Intern and has since become a Trainee Solicitor.  As a trainee, Joshua works across all of Charles Lyndon’s practice areas and is enjoying the wide variety of litigation he is a part of.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing Cricket and Rugby, and, if not playing, he can be found watching Harlequins RFC or Hampshire CCC compete. Joshua is an avid camper and is currently researching innovative ways that the Law could offer further protection to our Natural Environment and hopes to publish his thoughts.

Sofia Vagnone

Trainee Solicitor

Sofia is a Trainee Solicitor at Charles Lyndon.

Sofia graduated from King’s College London with an Ancient History BA Hons. Upon graduating, Sofia went on to complete the senior status LLB and the LPC LLM programme at the University of Law. 

At Charles Lyndon, Sofia specialises in competition litigation and enjoys the complex and dynamic nature of collective proceedings.    

In her spare time, Sofia enjoys cooking, reading and follows Italian football.

Vishnuviraj Dhir

Intern

Vishnuviraj is a Legal Intern working in Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation teams. 

Vishnuviraj graduated from the University of Bristol in 2022 with a degree in Law. Vishnuviraj went on to complete the LLM Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. 

Before joining Charles Lyndon, Vishnuviraj worked at Queen Mary University of London where he drafted collaboration agreements and assisted academics with their applications to research funders. At Charles Lyndon, Vishnuviraj relishes the intricate and dynamic aspects of litigation, as well as the scope and magnitude of collective proceedings.

In his spare time, Vishnuviraj enjoys long-distance running and has a keen interest in sketching and painting. He also likes calisthenics, reading and spending quality moments with friends and family.

Emily Seshadri

Intern

Emily is a Legal Intern working in Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation teams.

Emily graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2022 with a Master’s degree in Medical Science. She then converted to law by completing the GDL and is currently studying the Solicitors Qualifying Examination coupled with the LLM Master of Laws. 

Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Emily gained legal experience in a range of different practice areas, including pro-bono work with national and international organisations. She also has experience in other areas, including, finance, business and in the medical field, which gives her a well-rounded approach to the law. She enjoys the complex and dynamic nature of litigation and collective proceedings that Charles Lyndon is involved in. Outside of the office, Emily enjoys dance, playing the piano and spending time with her friends and family.

Maria Taylor

Executive Assistant

Maria is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.  She joined Charles Lyndon in January 2018 and has been a key part of the growing firm ever since.

Maria’s background is in civil litigation and she has spent many years gaining valuable experience working in law firms as a litigation assistant. Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, she was office supervisor of a legal department specialising in company and commercial litigation and property.  Her principal responsibility is ensuring the smooth running of the office.

Maria has a keen interest in fitness and wellbeing and outside work enjoys Pilates and hiking. She also likes travelling and learning new languages.  Maria is fluent in Greek and is currently learning Italian.

Nicola Mead

Executive Assistant

Nicola is an Executive Assistant with Charles Lyndon.
Nicola has recently joined Charles Lyndon to help with the ever-growing demands of the business.
Nicola has previously worked in two of the Big Four accountancy firms and has predominantly had a
finance focused background. She is excited to move into the legal world and take on the new
challenges this entails.
Nicola is involved in ensuing the smooth running of the firm and has principal responsibility for
finance matters along with providing HR and general administrative support.
Nicola has a keen interest in singing and was an active member of a choir for many years. She also
enjoys cooking and baking and is often experimenting with new recipes and ingredients.
