Rodger co-founded Charles Lyndon in 2015 with the aim of creating a dynamic, claimant focussed litigation firm.
Before that Rodger trained as a barrister after which he cross qualified as a solicitor and spent a number of years at leading defendant and claimant firms. He currently focusses on group actions developing and leading the team that filed the first ‘stand-alone’ collective proceedings case in the Competition Appeal Tribunal. Rodger is also managing two group actions in relation to diesel emissions; and continues to develop further group actions involving innovative funding strategies and pioneering ways to aggregate claimants.
In his spare time Rodger enjoys most sports, in particular football and running; all things to do with space and artificial intelligence; property and architecture. Rodger is currently combining his interest in property and artificial intelligence to create a property valuation tool.
DOROTHEA

In 2015, Dorothea co-founded Charles Lyndon with the intention of creating a law firm that is dynamic and focussed on claimant litigation. Dorothea trained as a barrister at a top tier barristers’ chambers, where she was involved in cases from the First Tier Tribunal to the Court of Appeal. Dorothea then moved into financial services as a lawyer for the investment banking arm of Barclays PLC specializing in regulatory developments and for the Financial Regulation Group at Linklaters LLP where she was involved in contentious and non-contentious matters for a number of investment banks, asset managers and retail banks.
Dorothea currently works across Charles Lyndon’s practice areas, she has been involved in the running and management of Japanese knotweed cases since 2015 and is a recognised specialist in this area. She is also heavily involved in Charles Lyndon’s collective actions and has significant experience in group litigation cases and collective proceedings. In her spare time, Dorothea enjoys travelling, exploring new restaurants and cooking. She’s often found in the kitchen creating dishes based on her adventures.

Donna is a Senior Associate practicing in Charles Lyndon’s environmental litigation team.
Donna is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives and has been involved in a wide variety of cases, including high-value matters, for both claimants and defendants.
Donna specialises in claims involving non-native invasive species (including Japanese knotweed) and other general property damage cases. She finds this a fascinating new area of law and enjoys putting her litigation expertise into use in such a dynamic and developing field.
Donna is a keen runner and has participated in a number of half marathons to raise money for various charities. She hopes to one day run a full marathon. Donna enjoys dedicating her spare time to events in her hometown and sits on the Board of Governors at her local Academy.

SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Rob is a Senior Associate practicing in Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation teams.
He is a South African trained lawyer and, before migrating north for the fine English weather, Rob qualified and practiced as an Advocate (Barrister) in South Africa. During this time, he had a busy commercial litigation practice, acting for both claimants and defendants.
Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Rob worked in a leading UK consumer law firm where he led a team researching and developing large scale collective actions on behalf of consumers.
Rob enjoys spending time with his family, working on his tennis game, watching rugby and walking in the gorgeous West Hertfordshire countryside.

Andreas is an Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s environmental litigation team.
Andreas trained at a boutique litigation firm in London, acting for claimants pursuing multi-national companies such as Asda and EasyJet. As part of his training, he also spent time in the private client department where he was responsible for landlord and tenant disputes, drafting wills and drafting commercial contracts.
At Charles Lyndon, Andreas specialises in litigation, he runs a number of Japanese knotweed cases focussing on providing his clients with the best possible strategic advice. He is involved in Charles Lyndon’s developing sport’s law practice.
In his spare time, Andreas enjoys attending the gym. He is a dedicated Liverpool supporter and football fan although his recent knee injuries have meant he has had to hang up his boots. Andreas is also fluent in Greek.

Maria has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives since 2001. She joined Charles Lyndon in January 2018 as part of the administrative team.
Maria’s background is in civil litigation and she has spent many years gaining valuable experience working in law firms as a litigation assistant. Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, she was office supervisor of a legal department specialising in company/commercial litigation and property.
Her principle responsibility is ensuring the smooth running of the office. She also assists the lawyers in our team on a range of legal matters with particular emphasis on Japanese knotweed litigation.
Maria has a keen interest in fitness and wellbeing and outside work enjoys Pilates and hiking. She also likes travelling and learning languages. Maria is fluent in Greek and is currently learning Italian

Christine is an Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s environmental litigation team. She has worked within different areas of litigation and acted for both defendants and claimants. She gained her training and experience within some of the top tier law firms in Birmingham and London, where she acted for large insurance clients and commercial organisations. She has experience in fast and multi track matters and also very high value and complex claims.
At Charles Lyndon, Christine specialises in Japanese knotweed cases. She enjoys managing a case load of varied matters and advises both claimants and defendants across professional negligence, misrepresentation and nuisance claims.
Christine enjoys outdoor activities and is learning how to sail with her partner, she enjoys swimming and playing netball and spending time with her friends and family.

Philippa is an Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation teams.
Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Philippa trained and qualified at a leading all service west end firm in their corporate and commercial department. Philippa’s previous experience includes acting for high-net worth individuals and multinational companies in respect of their corporate and commercial matters together with assisting insolvency practitioners with corporate restructuring and dissolution of companies.
In Philippa’s spare time, she can be found jogging around south London parks, supporting Harlequins at the pub or on a long country walk with her dog, Winston. Philippa grew up in Dubai where she discovered a love of horses and foreign countries, and continues to ride and travel when she can.

Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Sian trained at a national law firm, acting for defendants in a wide range of litigation claims including commercial litigation. During her training, Sian gained experience in acting for large companies in high net-worth claims in a variety of disputes.
Outside of the office, Sian enjoys travelling, keeping fit and spending time with family and friends. Sian is also a keen netball player, where her competitive streak shines through especially when her team wins!

Laila is an Associate practicing in Charles Lyndon’s environmental and financial litigation teams.
Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Laila trained at a national firm, focussing on civil and commercial litigation dealing with fraud, debt and international arbitration cases. At Charles Lyndon, Laila specialises in civil litigation, advising clients on Japanese knotweed and business interruption insurance claims.
Outside of the office, Laila enjoys travelling, playing piano, trying new cuisines and learning to play the bass guitar. Laila is fluent in Arabic and is currently learning French.

MITCHELL
Joel is a Paralegal working in Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation teams.
Joel graduated with a distinction from Tilburg University in the Netherlands, where he won the prize for Best Essay. Upon returning to London, he undertook the MA Law and graduated with commendation. He is currently studying the LPC part-time.
Outside of the office, Joel enjoys spending time with his friends and family, going to the cinema and is also looking to pick up hockey again (in the hopes of reliving his former glory as a National Champion). He is a keen traveller, having spent a year travelling solo in South America. He currently contributes articles to the ‘Hate Crime Unit’, a student-led project dedicated to addressing the pervasive issue of hate crime

Alexander is a paralegal primarily practising in Charles Lyndon’s environmental and financial litigation teams.
Before joining Charles Lyndon, Alexander graduated with an LLB (Hons.) in English & European Law from Queen Mary University of London, where he won the Dissertation Prize for the best dissertation in the cohort. He then worked at a boutique commercial and corporate City law firm for one year, primarily working with entrepreneurial clients, before undertaking the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at BPP University on a scholarship. Alexander graduated from the BPTC in February 2021. Alexander is also a volunteer adviser with Citizens Advice and has taught law to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
In his spare time, Alexander enjoys Japanese food, playing piano, daytime quiz shows, game theory, and following football, tennis and rugby (strictly as an armchair fan).
