Rodger co-founded Charles Lyndon in 2015 with the aim of creating a dynamic, claimant focused litigation firm.

Rodger is a pioneer in the collective actions space in the UK.  He developed and filed the first ‘stand-alone’ collective proceedings in the Competition Appeal Tribunal, running the case from 2018 to 2026.  He is a leading figure in the development of the collective proceedings regime, being involved in some of the most significant cases and judgments to shape the regime such as the Court of Appeal judgment in Gutmann v First MTR South Western Trains and has litigated every phase of a collective proceedings from carriage dispute, certification, trial, settlement approval and stakeholder entitlement. Rodger has also managed two group actions in relation to diesel emissions; and continues to develop further group actions involving innovative funding strategies and pioneering ways to aggregate claimants.

Before Charles Lyndon, Rodger studied economics and served in the army.  Turning to law, he then trained as a barrister after which he cross-qualified as a solicitor and spent a number of years at leading defendant and claimant firms.

In his spare time Rodger enjoys most sports, in particular tennis, padel, football and running; all things to do with space and artificial intelligence; property and architecture.

Dorothea co-founded Charles Lyndon with the intention of creating a law firm that is dynamic and focused on claimant redress.

She is passionate about protecting consumers and finding innovative ways to use the law to hold businesses and public bodies to account.  She is a leading specialist in the collective proceedings regime in the Competition Appeal Tribunal, building and launching some of the largest, most complex claims in this space.

Dorothea was part of the team who represented Justin Gutmann in launching the first ever standalone collective action in the UK in the Boundary Fares litigation and she filed a claim on behalf of millions of iPhone owners against Apple Inc for abuse of dominance in relation to the power management function installed in iPhones.   She has also been heavily involved in the diesel emissions litigation, representing Charles Lyndon’s clients against Volkswagen and Mercedes.

Dorothea trained as a barrister at Pump Court Tax Chambers and spent time in the Financial Regulation Group at Linklaters LLP, specialising in contentious issues including white collar crime and FCA investigations.

Outside of work, Dorothea enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her young family.

Donna is Of Counsel at Charles Lyndon and heads up the High-Volume Litigation team.

Donna has extensive experience acting for both claimants and defendants across a broad range of litigation matters, including high-value disputes.

Donna specialises in claims involving non-native invasive species, including Japanese knotweed, together with housing conditions claims, financial mis-selling disputes and other property damage cases. She enjoys working in areas of law that continue to evolve and develop and is passionate about using her litigation expertise to secure practical and meaningful outcomes for clients.

Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Donna built significant experience across a wide variety of civil litigation matters, developing a strong and pragmatic approach to dispute resolution while working for a number of national law firms.

Outside of work, Donna enjoys spending time in the countryside, going on long walks and pursuing her interest in photography.

Amr is Counsel practising in Charles Lyndon’s Collective Action group working across group litigation and competition cases. Amr has been involved in some of the most groundbreaking litigation in the Competition Appeal Tribunal. He helped launch Mr Hammond’s claim against Amazon, alleging that Amazon’s “Buy Box” algorithm violates UK competition law by manipulating featured offers, resulting in millions of UK consumers artificially overpaying for goods by an estimated £1.3 billion. He also represents Mr Gutmann in his innovative claim against the UK’s four main mobile network operators for damages for customers who did not immediately terminate their handset and airtime services contracts at the end of their minimum contractual terms. Amr is passionate about using consumer and competition law in creative ways to hold dominant and colluding companies to account. Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Amr practised in New Zealand, where he qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor in March 2016. Here he represented policyholders in Property Damage and Business Interruption Insurance claims that arose from the devastating Canterbury Earthquake Sequence in 2010/2011. When he first moved to London, Amr was at a leading international law firm, working on claims for compensation stemming from the ‘Post Office’ scandal. Outside of work, Amr is passionate about fitness, and you can often find him in the gym, snowboarding or taking on new challenging hikes. He is a keen martial artist, having trained in Jiu Jitsu for a number of years. He is also fluent in Arabic and Spanish.

Stuart Warmington is a Senior Associate at Charles Lyndon and joined the firm in February 2025. He qualified as a solicitor in September 2018.

At Charles Lyndon, Stuart works on collective proceedings litigation before the Competition Appeal Tribunal including Justin Gutmann’s high-profile claim against Apple on behalf of millions of iPhone customers impacted by the so-called ‘Batterygate’ controversy.

He is committed to using the law creatively to uphold corporate accountability and ensure everyone gets a fair deal. He has a particular interest in product liability and consumer rights.

Before joining Charles Lyndon, Stuart trained at a leading national firm which specialises in claimant-side group litigation. More recently, he was a Senior Associate at an international law firm handling various matters relating to defective products, non-recent abuse and environmental harm. In the past, he has also worked on claims relating to hip replacements, pharmaceutical products, building cladding, data rights and alleged human rights abuses in the international gemstone industry.

Outside of work, Stuart enjoys running, playing the piano and getting out of the city to surf, ski or travel.

Mimi is a Senior Associate at Charles Lyndon, specialising in complex collective actions, with a particular focus on competition and securities litigation. Mimi is a senior member of the team at Charles Lyndon acting for Mr Hammond in his Competition Appeal Tribunal claim against Amazon – a collective action seeking redress for millions of UK shoppers alleged to have overpaid for goods on Amazon due to the discriminatory features of its “Buy Box” algorithm. She also acts on behalf of tens of thousands of consumers pursuing redress under the FCA’s Motor Finance Consumer Redress Scheme for undisclosed discretionary commission arrangements on their car finance and hire purchase agreements. Mimi’s practice at Charles Lyndon is underpinned by a strong commitment to social justice and to empowering clients to fulfil their legal rights and hold corporations to account for wrongdoing. Throughout her career, Mimi has volunteered for NGOs and community legal organisations focused on human rights, refugee advocacy and access to justice. Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Mimi practised in Australia, where she was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in February 2019. There, Mimi worked in both the private and public sector, honing her skills in litigation appearing as an advocate in the Magistrates’ Court, Civil and Administrative Tribunal and Federal Circuit Court of Australia. After relocating to England, and prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Mimi worked at a boutique plaintiff-side class action law firm managing the firm’s securities litigation practice and acting on behalf of a large group of institutional investors in a shareholder collective action in the High Court of Justice. Outside the office, Mimi can usually be found in a sauna or at an aerial gymnastics class, cooking for friends, sourcing vintage furniture or planning her next trip abroad.

Larissa is an Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s collective action group working across group litigation and competition cases. She is currently working on collective proceedings against the four UK mobile network operators concerning handset loyalty penalty overcharges and the firm’s PCP motor finance claims under the FCA’s redress scheme. She was also involved in the Stagecoach South West Trains settlement. Larissa is actively involved in business development and also leads the firm’s adoption and development of AI tools. She is motivated by the important role that collective actions play in ensuring the existence of a competitive market.

Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Larissa qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor in Canada in 2021 (inactive) and as a Solicitor in England & Wales in 2024, having clerked at the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan before moving to England. She holds an LLM in European Law from the University of Cambridge, a JD from the University of Saskatchewan, and an MA in Applied Economics and Policy Analysis from the University of Regina. Her experience across five jurisdictions – England, the Netherlands, Canada, the United States, and Brazil – gives her a genuinely international perspective on group litigation and competition matters. Larissa is fully bilingual in English and Portuguese, fluent in Spanish, with working proficiency in French, and basic knowledge of German and Italian.

Outside work, Larissa is on a mission to visit every country in the world in her lifetime and is passionate about fitness – she practises CrossFit and calisthenics and can be found at the gym almost every day.

Madeleine is an Associate in Charles Lyndon’s High Volume Litigation team.

Madeleine works on individual claims, with a particular focus on housing conditions matters. She  enjoys the client-facing nature of the role and has extensive experience assisting individuals in pursuing claims against landlords and housing providers.

Madeleine is passionate about access to justice and is committed to helping clients secure meaningful improvements to their living conditions.

Prior to joining Charles Lyndon in 2024, Madeleine worked in professional negligence and civil litigation at a South London firm. She completed the GDL and LPC part-time whilst working as a paralegal and trainee solicitor, qualifying as a Solicitor in 2021. She also holds a BSc in Environmental Science and Geography.

Outside of work, Madeleine enjoys knitting, collecting records and performing with her improv comedy team; she is also kept busy by her two cats.

Kira is an Associate in Charles Lyndon’s competition and commercial litigation team. She has worked on some of the most high-profile group actions in the High Court and the Competition Appeal Tribunal, bringing her expertise to complex cases in consumer, securities, and competition claims.

At Charles Lyndon, Kira plays an integral role in pursuing collective redress, contributing to groundbreaking cases that tackle anti-competitive practices and uphold consumer rights. She managed the implementation of distribution of damages following the settlement of the Boundary Fares claim for class representative Justin Gutmann (the first CAT settlement to reach the distribution stage) and acted as lead associate on a successful application for payment of costs from undistributed damages in the same claim. She is also part of the team representing Mr Gutmann in his claim against Apple.

Her commitment to securing justice for clients aligns with the firm’s dedication to holding corporations accountable and driving meaningful change in the legal landscape.

Before joining Charles Lyndon, Kira trained at a boutique litigation firm where she gained substantial experience in commercial litigation, developing a meticulous approach to case strategy and a strong foundation in managing intricate legal matters.

Kira is fluent in English, French, and Arabic, which enhances her ability to work effectively across diverse jurisdictions. Outside of her legal career, she is an avid reader with a particular interest in classic literature and has a passion for 70s rock and folk music.

Joshua is an Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s collective action group working across group litigation and competition cases.

At Charles Lyndon, Joshua has been involved in a number of significant matters before the Competition Appeal Tribunal, High Court and Court of Appeal. He helped launch Mr Gutmann’s claim against the Mobile Network Operators concerning alleged overcharging beyond contractual minimum terms, and he also acts for Mr Gutmann in his claim against Apple, including as part of the team that secured important Court of Appeal judgments concerning third-party litigation funding.

Joshua is motivated by the role collective proceedings can play in promoting transparency, accountability and fairness in the market.

Joshua joined Charles Lyndon as an intern in 2022 before completing his training contract with the firm and qualifying as a Solicitor in 2024. Prior to this, he obtained an LLB from the University of Exeter and an LLM from the University of Law.

Outside of work, Joshua is a motorsport enthusiast and regularly attends racing events across the UK and Europe. He also has a keen interest in ancient history and the classical world.

Belinda is an Associate in Charles Lyndon’s collective action group working across group litigation and competition cases.

She has substantial experience in UK competition law, with deep expertise in the legal, procedural and economic framework that underpins the UK’s collective actions regime. Her practice focuses on high-value, opt-out collective proceedings before the Competition Appeal Tribunal. Her work frequently involves complex issues including pass-on, market definition in digital and two-sided markets, and the construction of counterfactual scenarios to evaluate competitive outcomes absent the anticompetitive behaviour. She has been instrumental in securing certification for three of the firm’s collective proceedings against major industry players and in successfully resisting permission to appeal applications before the Court of Appeal. She also brings years of High Court group litigation experience. She is committed to developing a long-term practice in competition litigation and to contributing to the evolution of UK competition jurisprudence.

Belinda graduated from King’s College London with a BA (Hons) in International Relations and was awarded a scholarship to study International Investment Law at Fudan University, Shanghai. She completed the GDL and LPC at BPP Law School and is currently undertaking a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics for Competition Law at King’s College London.

Originally from Hong Kong, Belinda is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Outside of work, Belinda enjoys racket sports, discovering new recipes, and spending time with friends and family.

Frank is an Associate in Charles Lyndon’s Collective Action group, working on collective proceedings in the Competition Appeal Tribunal and group litigation in the High Court, alongside other forms of large-scale consumer redress.

Frank acts for Mr Gutmann in his claims against the UK’s four main mobile network operators  (EE, Vodafone, Three and O2) seeking damages for customers who continued paying for handset and airtime services after their minimum contractual terms expired. He is also part of the team acting for Mr Hammond in his claim that Amazon’s “Buy Box” algorithm distorts the way goods are sold on its UK marketplace, and represents owners of diesel Mercedes vehicles in Charles Lyndon’s group action concerning the alleged use of defeat devices to circumvent UK and EU emissions standards. Beyond the group litigation work, Frank also helps run Charles Lyndon’s representation of more than 100,000 consumers under the FCA’s motor finance redress scheme.

Frank is passionate about bringing claims against corporations that individual customers could never realistically bring claims against on their own, and using competition and consumer law to deliver redress that would otherwise be out of reach.

Before joining Charles Lyndon, Frank trained and qualified at William Fry in Dublin, one of Ireland’s leading commercial firms, where he spent the majority of his time in the competition and regulation and commercial litigation departments. He graduated from the University of Limerick with a first-class degree in Law and History and holds a Master’s in European and International Law from the University of Amsterdam, and is dual-qualified as a solicitor in Ireland and in England and Wales. Outside of work, Frank is a long-distance runner, writes whenever he can find the time, and is a committed Aston Villa supporter through the (more recent) highs and (more frequent) lows.

Sofia is an Associate practising in Charles Lyndon’s collective action group working across group litigation and competition cases. She works on complex collective actions and group claims, with a particular focus on proceedings before the Competition Appeal Tribunal. At Charles Lyndon, Sofia contributes to the firm’s work pursuing collective redress for consumers and businesses affected by unlawful conduct. She has worked across a range of competition claims, including the negotiation of the settlement and the distribution of damages in the Boundary Fares claim, and the collective proceedings against the UK’s mobile network operators. Sofia is particularly interested in the role of collective proceedings in improving access to justice and holding large corporations to account. She enjoys the strategic, challenging and fast-moving nature of competition litigation, as well as the opportunity to work on claims that seek to secure meaningful redress for large groups of affected individuals. Sofia first joined Charles Lyndon as an intern after graduating from King’s College London and has since developed her practice within the firm’s litigation team. She graduated with a BA Hons in Ancient History before completing the Senior Status LLB and LPC LLM at the University of Law. Outside of her legal career, she enjoys cooking and reading, and has a particular interest in art galleries and museums.

Lylian is an Associate in Charles Lyndon’s High Volume Litigation team.

Lylian works on housing conditions claims, representing clients in claims against local councils and housing associations in matters that directly affect their homes, health and quality of life.

Lylian is committed to advancing access to justice, protecting human rights, and using litigation to hold those in positions of power accountable for their wrongdoings.

Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Lylian developed her litigation experience acting for claimants in large-scale group proceedings before the High Court of England and Wales, including environmental accountability claims representing hundreds of thousands of individuals. She has also supported strategic litigation concerning states’ obligations under international climate law. She is fully bilingual in English and Portuguese, with conversational Spanish.

Outside of work, Lylian enjoys cycling, exploring the outdoors and reading. She also volunteers as a mentor to young people leaving the care system.

Christiana is a Trainee Solicitor practising in Charles Lyndon’s collective action group working across group litigation and competition cases.

Christiana graduated with a degree in History from UCL in 2019 and completed her law conversion degree at the University of Law.

Her previous role was in the FMCG sector, as a Category Analyst for a Mediterranean food company, where she became familiar with the CMA’s regulations of UK supermarkets and online retailers. She has a strong interest in both public and private enforcement of competition law against technology companies and the evolving regime for group litigation.

Outside of work, Christiana enjoys running, live music and writing for her blog. She is a native Greek speaker and is fluent in Spanish.

Mahvesh Ahmad is a trainee solicitor in Charles Lyndon’s Competition Litigation team.

Since joining Charles Lyndon, Mahvesh has worked across the firm’s high-volume team, focusing on housing disrepair cases. She is also involved in claims concerning motor finance complaints and collective actions.

Mahvesh is driven by access to justice and enjoys the challenge of turning complex disputes into clear, impactful cases. She is passionate about holding corporations to account, helping consumers enforce their rights and delivering meaningful change through litigation.

She holds a Law and Criminology degree from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Master of Laws from the University of Law.

Outside work, Mahvesh can usually be found in the gym or the boxing ring, following football as an avid Chelsea supporter, or planning her next trip.

Jenson is a Trainee Solicitor working in Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation teams.

Since joining in February 2025, Jenson has worked on the firm’s claim against Apple on behalf of iPhone customers and the firm’s motor finance case. He has also gained valuable litigation experience working across multiple housing conditions claims in the high-volume team.

Before joining Charles Lyndon, Jenson worked in a legal advice clinic. Jenson enjoys helping consumers obtain justice against large corporations and he has a strong interest in the UK’s growing competition litigation framework.

Outside of work, Jenson enjoys playing football and supporting Manchester United, as well as watching Formula One.

Anna is a trainee solicitor in Charles Lyndon’s Collective Action team working across group litigation and competition cases. Anna has been involved in representing Mr Gutmann in his claim before the Competition Appeal Tribunal, against the UK’s four main mobile network operators to seek damages for customers who continued to pay for their handset and airtime services contracts beyond the end of their minimum contractual terms. She also works on the group litigation action against major car manufacturers involved in the Emissions Scandal, seeking redress for owners of Mercedes vehicles who suffered loss as a result of the so-called “defeat devices”. Anna is passionate about consumer welfare and working towards protecting consumers from the abusive conduct of dominant corporations through large scale collective actions. Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Anna completed the LLM Legal Practice programme at the University of Law where she first developed an interest in competition law through an elective module. Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time cooking and baking for family and friends. She is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.

James is a Trainee Solicitor working in Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation teams.

James is actively contributing to two collective proceedings currently before the Competition Appeal Tribunal, acting on behalf of Mr Robert Hammond in his claim against Amazon and Mr Justin Gutmann in his claim against Apple. In addition to this, James is a member of the firm’s motor finance team, representing clients across the UK who were mis-sold car finance in pursuing complaints against motor finance lenders.

Having thoroughly enjoyed undertaking competition law modules during both his undergraduate and master’s degree, and volunteering with the Citizens Advice Bureau, James hopes to hold businesses accountable for their conduct and seek redress for consumers.

Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, James graduated from the University of Exeter with an LLB in Law with Honours and has since completed the SQE through the University of Law’s LLM Legal Practice, attaining a distinction and passing both SQE1 and SQE2 on first attempt.

Outside of work, James is an avid rugby fan, supporting the Welsh national team. Having stopped playing rugby, he stays active through going to the gym, running, and has recently taken up golf.

Pauline is a Paralegal in Charles Lyndon’s High Volume Litigation team, where she works on a range of housing condition claims under the supervision of her managing solicitor.

Pauline finds this role to be particularly rewarding, as she is able to assist individuals in making their home more habitable, whilst holding landlords and housing providers accountable for meeting their legal obligations.

Pauline is passionate in providing the best possible outcome for her clients and providing support and guidance throughout what can often be a challenging legal process.

Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Pauline spent two years working for the legal team within a housing association, giving her valuable insight into the housing sector. She also has experience in both criminal and immigration law, enabling her to develop a broad understanding of different areas of legal practice.

She is currently studying for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) as she works towards qualifying as a solicitor.

Outside of work, Pauline is passionate about volunteering and supporting homeless individuals within her community. She is dedicated to personal growth and strives to make a positive impact on the lives of others and the wider community. She is also the proud owner and long-suffering mother of a very mischievous cat.

Fenella is an intern working across Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation teams. She assists with tasks for live cases and the firm’s business development.

Fenella is interested in the UK competition regulation framework and litigation.

Prior to completing the PGDL and LLM in Legal Practice (SQE1&2) at the University of Law, Fenella graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in Music. She has also completed the SQE exams.

In her spare time, Fenella enjoys composing and watching live music.

Naomi is an Intern working in Charles Lyndon’s commercial and competition litigation teams.

Naomi graduated from Durham University in 2024 with a degree in English Literature and has since completed the MA Law (Conversion) course. Naomi is enjoying working towards meaningful outcomes for consumers and encouraging large companies to take responsibility for their actions.

Outside of work, Naomi is interested in live music, theatre, and literature.

Maria is an Executive Assistant at Charles Lyndon and part of the administrative team.

Maria is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.  Her principal responsibility is ensuring the smooth running of the office and providing HR and general administrative support.  She joined Charles Lyndon in January 2018 and has been a key part of the growing firm ever since.

Maria’s background is in civil litigation, and she has spent many years gaining valuable experience working in law firms as a litigation assistant. Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, she was office supervisor of a legal department specialising in company and commercial litigation and property.

Outside work, Maria has a keen interest in fitness and wellbeing. She enjoys Pilates and Greek dancing. She also likes travelling and is fluent in Greek.

Nicola is an Executive Assistant at Charles Lyndon, working predominantly on the accounts and administration of the firm’s litigation and competition cases.

Since joining the firm, Nicola has worked closely with the litigation teams to manage the financial side of several of the firm’s largest cases. She also plays a key role in the day-to-day running of the firm, with principal responsibility for finance matters alongside administrative support.

Nicola is passionate about creating an efficient and supportive working environment and enjoys improving internal processes and supporting colleagues across the firm.

Prior to joining Charles Lyndon, Nicola worked within two of the Big Four accountancy firms and developed a strong finance-focused background before transitioning into the legal sector.

Outside of work, Nicola enjoys singing and was an active member of a choir for many years. She is currently studying bookkeeping and accountancy and enjoys spending time with her family.
