iPhone “throttling” court battle may proceed to full trial
Multimillion-pound iPhone claim proceeds to full trial
The Court of Appeal has rejected Apple’s application for permission to appeal consumer champion Justin Gutmann’s £853 million legal claim on behalf of UK iPhone users.
The case may now proceed to a full trial in the Competition Appeal Tribunal, with around 24 million owners of iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, SE, 7 and 7 Plus models set to benefit.
